Day 01
Pick up by our representative on arrival and transfer to the Hotel Hispaniola.
Accommodation. Welcome drink and information briefing. (30 kms)

Day 02
Breakfast at the Hotel. At 8:30AM departure from the hotel for a visit of the Colonial
area of Santo Domingo and Mercado Modelo. The coach tour will
include the first palace "El Alcazar".
The Cathedral of Santa Maria la Menor, the "Atarazana", a lovely picturesque
street, one of the first in the city and all the moat important churches, buildings and parks of the
colonial city.
Afternoon to walk by your own. In the evening we suggest a visit to the Meson de la Cava
Restaurant and enjoy the Dominican music in a very popular place, a spectacular
underground cave called "Guacara Taina". (40 kms)

Day 03
Breakfast at the Hotel. 8:30AM driving westward through cashew, aloe and mango plantations
to the mid-size town of Barahona
Lunch by your own.
Passing the town, arrival to the hotel Casa Bonita. Lodging and dinner at the hotel. (250
kms)

Day 04
Breakfast. Early in the morning we drive through a natural Savannah visiting the lake
Enriquillo, the lowest point of the Caribbean (40 Mts. below sea level); crocodiles, flamingoes and
other colorful birds can be observed. Visit to the village of Las Barias; lunch by our own and a
swim in a sulfur pool will round up this day before arriving to Duverge, at the Haitian border for
immigration procedures before crossing to Haiti.
Overnight in Port-au-Prince Lodging in a tourist class hotel. (160 kms)

Day 05
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion in the capital and its environs, visiting the
National Museum and the Musee d Art Haitian. Lunch not included Haiti is home to the fines native
art and handicraft in the Caribbean. After a morning in the center, we drive 1,500m up
into the surrounding hills to the relative cool of Kenscoff for lunch On our way back down to the
city, we can walk to the hilltop Fort Jacques, constructed after Napoleons defeat, to
appreciate the stunning views Night at leisure. (60 kms)

Day 06
Breakfast at the hotel. Heading north to Cap Haitian, we drive through the arid coastal
region past the black volcanic sand beaches of the Cote des Arcadins, where the wealthy
spend their weekends. After a lunch stop in Gonaives we continue past African-like
villages Over the watershed to descend into Cap Haitienne, the second city and once legendary
for its glittering wealth and sophistication resulting from sugar production,
when it was known as the "Paris of the Antilles".
Lodging in a first class hotel. Night at leisure. (250 kms)

Day 07
Breakfast at the hotel. After visiting the Royal Palace of Sans Souci, crossing the border
in
Dajabon (northwest) return to Dominican Republic.
Overnight in Santiago, second largest city. Lodging in a tourist class hotel. (180 kms)

Day 08
Breakfast at the hotel. After a short visit of Santiago and Tobacco factory,
time permitted, transfer to the airport at to your next vacation destination.
